Affiliate Disclosure

Draft — last updated August 2026

Guidon earns a commission when you make a purchase through some of the links and rates we show you. It never costs you more — the commission comes from the retailer, not from you.

How it works

Guidon participates in affiliate programs through networks like CJ, Impact, and Rakuten Advertising. When you click through Guidon to complete a purchase or booking, the retailer pays us a referral commission. This is the same mechanism used by cashback and rewards apps generally.

Why we show you both options

Some retailers offer a dedicated military discount instead of, or alongside, an affiliate commission. Where that's the case, Guidon shows you whichever gets you the better price — even when that means a lower commission for us. We built it this way on purpose: the trust this app depends on matters more than maximizing what we earn on any one purchase.

No pay-for-placement

Retailers cannot pay Guidon to be featured, ranked higher, or recommended over a better-value option. What you're shown is based on eligibility and price, not on advertising spend.
